When and why did you start training for fighting? I have been training since my childhood and the reason I started is because of my older brothers; they brought me to training.
What ranks and titles have you held? Former Gorilla Fighting (now Eagle FC) lightweight world champion
Do you have any heroes? Muhmmad Ali, Mike Tyson and Khabib Nurmagomedov
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means the world to me. I have been dreaming and working hard towards this goal my whole life. I will make history for my country with them behind me and put Tajikistan on the map.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I am getting a degree from a university in Tajikistan majoring in Information Technology
What was your job before you started fighting? I have been training my entire life.
Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Two-time World Pankration Champion, World Youth MMA champion, Two-time Asian Pankration Champion, Combat Sambo Asian Champion
